BOB SEGER - MIDI FILES - BACKING TRACKS - MIDISALE.COM

Robert Clark "Bob" Seger is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Lincoln Park, Michigan.  Segar began his career as a local success, playing live as 'Bob Seger and the Last Heard' and 'Bob Seger System' during his work in the 1960's.  Segar continued to work with other acts, eventually meeting his first national success in the early 1970's with the 'Silver Bullet Band' and their release of the popular 'Live Bullet' album.  His 1976 album 'Night Moves' launched him into superstar-dom seemingly overnight.  Segar's trademark raspiness and cold storytelling is audible in hits such as 'Turn the Page', 'Against the Wind', and 'Shame on the Moon'. His presence is incorporated elsewhere in popular music, as he co-wrote the Eagles' number-one single 'Heartache Tonight' and has collaborated with other major groups.  He is considered a father of the 'heartland rock' sub-genre, and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. After performing and penning art for nearly 7 decades, Segar continues to write and perform today at the age of 71. (Song Bios Copyright © 2016 J♯)
