Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato is an American singer, songwriter, and actress from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lovato's acting career has a genesis in the child television series Barney & Friends, but she truly rose to memorable prominence in 2008, starring on the Disney Channel television film, 'Camp Rock', alongside Joe Jonas.
