Donald Hugh "Don" Henley is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and drummer from Gilmer, Texas. Henley is popularly known as one of the founding members of The Eagles, drumming for them during their active years and reunion. His voice can be heard in big singles for the band such as 'Witchy Woman', 'Best of My Love', 'Desperado', 'Hotel California', 'Get Over It', and more.  By the time Henley pursued his solo career in 1980 after The Eagles unfortunate disbanding, he had already achieved international rock star status in a Grammy-award winning band.  Henley's solo career had sweet beginnings in a duet with fellow rock musician and then-girlfriend Stevie Nicks on her song 'Leather and Lace'. Shortly after, he released his first solo album, 'I Can't Stand Still', which sold moderately and was equipped with Henley's all-time biggest solo single 'Dirty Laundry'. This was followed by 1984's 'Building the Perfect Beast', which spawned 3 top 40 singles and the top 5 single, 'The Boys of Summer', for which he was awarded a Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. His last release in the 1980's, 'The End of Innocence', topped it's predecessor's success with several chart-topping singles, and again Henley was awarded with the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance Grammy Award. As of the later 2010's, Henley has released two more albums: 'Inside Job' peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200, and the latest 'Cass County' was released late in 2015.
