The Chainsmokers, an American DJ duo made up of artists Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, began their musical endeavors quietly remixing indie artists throughout 2012 under Adam Alpert's management. In 2014, they achieved their first powerful success with the release of their single, '#Selfie', which reached number 16 on the US charts and number 11 on the UK charts. The following year, on October 23, 2015, The Chainsmokers released their first EP, 'Bouquet', featuring another single that would chart well in the US, 'Roses'. In 2016, the group have released 2 more singles, 'Don't Let Me Down', and 'Inside Out', the former hitting number 1 on the US Dance Charts.
